Neat game! It perfectly captures murder mystery mixed with database searching. I wanted to be able to do a little more complex queries sometimes, but it was simple enough that I didn't need to.
I think the main one was to be able to sort by something. I was also missing being able to join tables but I think that would take away more of the puzzle. I streamed the gameplay on twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2037324733?t=00h07m30s
I really enjoyed this! I think it would benefit from a bit more keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab to navigate between tabs, tabbing between fields and entering to start query and such. But I had so much fun with it!
In a previous life I was briefly a DBA so this delighted me. Played it with some friends and had a great time--it really captures the puzzle-like aspect of trying to get a database to spit out the information you need, but in a fun way.
very nice game with a cool CRT effect too! there’s one thing i found weird: 10500 is actually really low for a yearly income, it should be monthly, right? the person only received money afterwards, so it doesn’t make sense that they would be affording that membership before this. also perhaps sorting/grouping functions would be nice. all in all it’s a pretty fun detective game, excellent work!
I loved this game! I work with SQL everyday and searching for some hidden data between tables is something I am used to and was great to use that to solve a murder. The old console and the query loading screen give great vibes. I was really engaged and reaching the end was very satisfactory.

Thanks for playing! What kind of queries were you missing out on? When I update the game further I want to add a couple more features

Loved it, but nothing happens when I press submit on the Case File Screen, so I don't know if I got it correct or not or whether there's a bug.

I actually didn't even think of this! Thanks for the suggestion, the next version will definitely have this!

My most sincere congratulation!
Thank you so much! I would love to add more cases to the game in the future
