Really nice game, specially to be made in Google Slides. I like the idea of having all the information in one room and the art was well-done.
I have to confess that I accused an innocent person before getting it right hahaha
I loved this game! I work with SQL everyday and searching for some hidden data between tables is something I am used to and was great to use that to solve a murder. The old console and the query loading screen give great vibes. I was really engaged and reaching the end was very satisfactory.
My most sincere congratulation!
Now i'm terrified! This game is awesome. I loved the atmosphere and the ps1 graphics. I could not stop playing it.
The first part, when you see the flare is great: you now your friend is in trouble. And when you find the underground you feel every room as a real threat. I was sweating.
To give some feedback, at first I thought the gun was not hurting the creature, maybe a larger hitbox and larger visual and audio effects would do the trick.
It is the perfect game for a game jam: short, beautiful and captivating. You should be proud of it! Congrats!
Great game, really loved it.
The puzzles are great but the best thing is the sound design, it's really nice to hear the peasants praying the king. In terms of points to improve, it is really frustrating that the king is always moving. Maybe it is to increase the difficulty, but I believe it adds a layer of reflexes skills that do not let you think carefully the puzzles. Btw, I love the camera movement.
Overall, I am really impressed. Good job!
Great game, I love the use of the prisoner dilema. The enviroment is great, the prisoner is scary and the sound is really effective. The best detail is the camera movement, it is really smooth.
I think you should adjust a bit the numbers. At the moment, you only gain 3 points for betraying, so if you always trust, at the last round at 8-8 you don't have any incentive to betray. If you move it to 4, it would create a powerful dilema to betray your fellow friend at 6-6 to win instantly.
All in all, I enjoyed it a lot, and I would like to see the ending!
I love the idea and the way the map is so colorful at the end. It would be great if you can implement some kind of "final rewind" where you get to see all your little guys been turned into a color stain at the same time.
The gameplay feels really nice when you can get quickly to the unexplored areas but there are some levels where the position and speed of the enemies make it very tedious to repeat the known part. Maybe you can try the idea of doing some levels with only static - predicticable enemies.
