First off, Duluth, MN's Enger Tower is an awesome homage to our local area. We absolutely loved that.
There are a lot of fun elements to this tower, and each floor is varied enough to keep each floor quite fresh. I especially enjoy that this adventure features two things that the PCs (as well as the players behind them) fear greatly: birds and towers. The reveals of both of them will be hilarious when played through.
The final encounter with the "angel" is very well done and provides a serious level of chaos that I really enjoy. I hope at least one PC is compelled to jump out the window. The healing every round makes this encounter particularly brutal for the PCs.
Overall, I like this one a lot and look forward to playing it. Very nice work. Well done.
I am really glad you like it. Really shooting for that most Northern prize.
The podcast has been a blast to listen to so far. Been listening to Vaesen episodes in the downtime, will be my next RPG purchase for sure.
That's awesome. We're really glad you enjoy the show. That means a lot to us. Thanks for submitting and listening.
I've actually ran this adventure and my group loved it. The whispers of salvation from an angel was enough to draw them in, and the realization of the horror that was instead in its place played out well.
AWESOME! Glad you all enjoyed it. I hope to do some more stuff like this soon. Give me a follow; got a few fun projects upcoming.
This is an excellent adventure. It's beautiful and it has interesting encounters baked into a very small space.
I am left with a couple of burning questions. The first is why am I going to this tower? To sooth my soul? The second is why is this forgotten god here impersonating an angel?
Excellent questions. Not sure I have the answers, or perhaps creating your own is best.
That is part of the DM lot, to fill in the blanks.
I’m working on a larger project, which will likely revisit the stuff found here. Once that comes out, I’ll be blasting it all over the MB internet.
I can't wait to see it, this teaser is enticing.
Great idea, clean design - would love to play that one soon!
Nice simple layout and a great execution. Really well done.
