This game was great! The polish was very on point, and the leniency with the hitboxes made playing the game feel easy and intuitive. I love how you turned the theme into a direct gameplay mechanic in such a simple yet clean way. Great job, I think that this would make a good mobile game.

Nice game! I think you can balance the icicle segment a bit. Maybe, just give more time before it's to fall.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I definitely agree the whole game is overturned. ESPECIALLY the first icicle segment.

the control, the camera, and smoothness was amazing! I thought it was very creative implementation of the theme as well. Nice controls

holy crap this game was hard. but i loved every second of it. I like the metroidvania aspect of the game. the graphics where also really beautiful.

one thing : sometimes after i died the fire instantly flew in the direction of my curser because i was holding the left mouse key to dash. this resulted in a few cheap deaths , sometimes even three or four times in a row. Maybe you could add a timer that prevents you from instantly jumping after respawning . this would fix the issue.

otherwise a very good game , my favourite so far.

I 100% agree with you on the dash problem. What I should of done was create a timer when you press the mouse button, however instead I just checked if the player was holding the mouse button. Definitely a blunder on my part.

This is really cool! This looks really nice and plays really well, but that icicle segment is really hard.
