Awesome game! I forgot I was in twine for a second with all the way you set it up the page flipping and artwork. Super cool execution and a nice soundtrack.
This is so cool! I've never played Katamari before but the enthusiasm in this was so contagious I wanna play it immediately. Loved the journal page style as well, the atmosphere and the vibes were so much fun! The pickle in question and the key smashes got a good chuckle from me, really cool way to use twine.
I adore this game so much oh my gosh. I was also introduced to Katamari recently and the controls really are something, even with a controller - I can't imagine Katamari with a keyboard. I also had the same reaction to "make cancer" - so that part made me laugh rly hard. I love this style of reflection, stream-of-consciousness reflections on a game with lovely doodle-y crayon-y art.
Nominating this line for "best one-liner": "it’s like I’m getting a good grade in roll, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve."
This is AWESOME! I haven’t really seen a game made in Twine (especially Harlowe) look this good! I also love Katamari and this was really fun to read/play!
I loved this! What a creative use of Twine—I loved all the different doodles and drawings on the corners of the page and all the cycling lists. The vibe was just delicious. The writing was also fantastic—I got really absorbed in your reflections, especially the diary-like vibe to it. Fantastic job (fantastic Katamari?)
