This story went in a different direction than I expected. I loved how the lore unfolded through subtle hints in the dialogue with all the villagers. I also noticed that Norgrim spoke to himself ("I miss her so much," etc) but didn't reply to the people - not sure if that was intentional or not but I thought it was a neat bit of characterization for this sad, lonely old man. You told a great story and you told it wonderfully. It was very linear but still lets the player explore at their own pace & choose how much to interact on their way to the ending. Beautiful job mapping, great music and sound design. The only thing I even found to nitpick is there's a door opening sound effect when entering the mouth of the cave - that's it. <3 (Also, definitely deserves the saddest game award. ;) )

Short and sweet, a brief little story with an unexpected ending.
