This is gorgeous! Simple and effective. I love the effect of the clouds bursting, and I adore the little birdies. Very beautifully done. Congrats!
When I first played this, I thought going near the birds would make them peck Icarus, causing him to fall apart, but upon accidentally going near them next playthrough, I realized they would ride Icarus! That was pretty cool; I liked that a lot!
Anyway, this is a very nice, relaxing game! Great job!
Wow! That moment when you experienced flying with birds and the moment when you see the stars for the first time. I felt great playing the game.Congrats! 5/5.
Unusual, incredible! Full chillout. This is enough. Well done. ;]
This is probably my favorite.
I would like a silly spin off mission, where you have to give rides from one cloud to another to tired birds .
Has amazing charm. Love how the clouds exploded around you.
Very polished. As Jupiter mentioned, there's no apparent goal, but I actually see that as a positive element of what you've made. It's aimless, peaceful, and relaxing. I liked picking up the birds, enjoyed gliding through the clouds, was sad when my birds left me, then calmly accepted death as the plane caught fire. (Hope there wasn't more to it that I missed :P)
Incidentally I made an Icarus-themed game for the Flappy Jam a couple months ago. It's also called Icarus but we definitely took it in opposite directions.
I'm adding your game to my collection of favorites from the jam. Good job.
Simple game, was not quite sure what the point was, but it felt nice! I included it in part 4 of my Public Domain Jam compilation video series :) http://youtu.be/XyekZqqe3lQ
Liked the theme and the chill aesthetic.
