The visuals and narrative are professional quality, and the story fits the theme to a tee!

I would recommend not having 100% of the dialogue interactions needed to make progress. Since the text can't be skipped, it would make sense to have a few different dialogues depending on how eager you are to order right away vs being the extrovert and talking with everyone. It could even play into more endings if this game gets expanded!

The last part of the game took me a while to figure out where to go after picking up the knife. I knew the front door was locked so I figured it wouldn't make sense to go back there, but that's where you have to go. Not a big deal though, just had to load the game a few more times.

All in all, marvelous experience!

Thank you so much for a kind feedback!

Progress depending on 100% of dialogue is intentional, to make the gameplay time a little bit longer. It wouldn't have much effect if a player got murked almost right away after ordering something, it would be too fast and rushed, in my opinion. So dialogue is there to make the player  a little bit more comforted before they go into horror section.  As a gamer, I can understand why it's frustrating to sit through dialogue sometimes, but as a game developer, I'm here to make people suffer (That was a joke!). And no, the game won't be expanded, it's done!

As for the endings, that's why I included a walkthrough actually!

Ah, I didn't realize the walkthrough was a separate download. My bad!

Since the game is finished, I won't complain about the dialogue being long. It didn't really frustrate me that much tbh since it wasn't repetitive.

I agree with everyone's comments, the visual is very good and doesn't feel like a game made in about two weeks.

One thing that would make this 100 times better is if there is an instant text option.

Developer

Thank you so much.

The speed of the text was a conscious choice, as I personally don't like how fast the text goes in a default speed. (But if you have the engine and you run the game through it (test mode or something), it lets you skip text by pressing shift, which definitely would be a nice option when you play, but rpgmaker2k3 is a little bit of an ass in that regard)

Thanks!

I just finished watching Manly's playthrough.
Funny how everyone in the comments assumed the fly to be a boy for some reason, lmao.

I guess Manly voicing the caracther helps it lol
