I do think you have charming character designs and environments! I would like to hear more music to help set the atmosphere during some of the beginning scenes.
And yes, the tiles part defo needs a lot of works… For now, you can reload the save file and follow from this image
Then at the bottom-right corner, the colored-tile there should has some changes.

Got stuck in the pond room after placing the mirror shard. Interacted with all the things. I have a feeling I need to stand still somewhere?
ah yes, from the the place you put the mirror shard, go up one and interact with the wall.
