Nice job and I expect a pretty tough one to approach with the tech stack’s limitations. Also I think it’s great to approach things with the intentions of learning.
I really didn’t expect someone to post a tool for the game boy lol! this is so cool. Let’s be clear, the tool is unusable (and the games we make on it are unplayable). But so cool to be able to make level design directly on the gameboy ! It would be great if we could “export” the level as a hex code or something and share levels by entering the code on the gb. Anyway, great tool.
I agree. The project was an attempt for me to learn how to use variables, but I know it's quite slow, so I inserted the term "obsolete" in the name. I wish I had done much more, even within the limitations of GB, which is also why I left the code open for improvements.
