Which Theme did you choose?

Dreadful Prison

How did you implement your chosen Theme into your game?
I reinterpreted the concept of a "dreadful prison" by creating a premise where the player is trapped in a horror film. The VHS acts as a prison from which the player must escape by surviving rounds of attacks from the inhabitants of the tape.

Did you implement any of the Bonus Challenges and if so, which ones?
Ironically, the Home Video bonus challenge from the "Family Secrets" category is the closest challenge I accomplished.

This game was really well made! I had a lot of fun playing it, though it was kind depressing sometimes when I got one hit😥The cards could be pretty brutal sometimes, and extremely kind at others, very luck dependent.

My first play through was really tense as I kept bobbing down to 2 health and barely squeaking out a win, to get a little more health back. the enemies were pretty tough, which kept it exciting.

My only problem was that I wasn't sure if I should round up or down for vampiric vigor. Other than that, well done!

Thank you so much! For Vampiric Vigor I would suggest rounding down to maintain tension. The intent was to design something that felt as tense as a horror film, so I'm glad it's given you that feeling!
