How did you choose to implement the Theme: Among the Stars in your game?
The player character is surrounded by statues of famous people (they are among the "stars")
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
#2 - The monster is... probably an alien. Our scientists are still working on this one.
#3 - The room layouts are based on constellations, and the "puzzle" is to figure out which statue is the fake.

Well-thought gameplay mechanics which match the Jam's theme nicely!
I liked the way you implemented "Settings" tab and a kind of "mutators" before starting playing.
The game is too fun. After 5 tries I finally got the monster. It matches the theme as well. Cool game.
nice game, very good atmosphere with the light and the music
A fairly polished experience. The lighting was done well and it lent itself to making a creepy atmosphere. I will say though, I wasn't quite sure what I was doing. I would sometimes shoot statues, sometimes I'd get eaten, and I'm not sure if what I was doing was right.
The game had nice mechanics and it was a unique take on the theme. It also had a nice spooky atmosphere and also felt a bit short but that wasn't much of a problem.
I liked your game a lot, it was spooky and very smooth!
At first, I did not really understand what to do, so I was just wandering aimlessly in the museum, waiting for the alien to show up... Also, I did not understand at first the meaning of the number of bullets. Maybe a quick tutorial would be helpful?
The pun at the heart of the title is brilliant.
Also, the controls are smooth, and the sound design and lighting are both very good. And I really appreciated the ability to zoom in and out. :)
I found myself craving more action. I realize that the design calls for one monster only, but perhaps there could have been other hazards to (a) shoot and/or (b) avoid.
This is a fun game, nice job! It looks great, and it's a really nice combination of 'action' and puzzle. The movement that takes place in the shadows was really well executed. I thought the flashlight mechanism worked really well in the space you created, and the lighting and game design work together to create a nice sense of suspense. I also like the character animation and the character movement runs well.
It took me a few plays to figure out what was happening in the game and what the objective was -- e.g., I clicked one bullet on my first game, thinking maybe this was just a stylized way of selecting "level 1," and it also took a few plays to realize there was a memory aspect. That might be by design, but I figured it could be helpful feedback.
Great game!
Thank you!
I figured the bullet selection might be unclear at first, but hoped that no matter which the player selected, it would work out ok.
I appreciate the feedback on gameplay/intro learning curve, perhaps having an extra section with hints/tips would've been helpful. It wasn't exactly "by design", but I did want to leave some mystery (after all, the scariest monster is one you don't understand). Hopefully the game is interesting enough to keep people playing for a few rounds so they figure these things out :)
I like how the mouse lights up the main menu as you move it around it's really cool! The sounds and music fit really well too. I didn't really know what I was supposed to do at first, maybe adding a tutorial would be helpful or just some quick text that explains the goals of the game? It's a fun trying to figure out what statue is the fake one :)
Maybe you could check out my game if you have time?
Thank you, I was quite proud with how the main menu lights came out :^)
I figured I needed some more explanation, I just wasn't really sure how to put it in the game yet (I do have an idea now for if I work on a new version). Though in a way, perhaps it lends to the immersion, since the guard wouldn't really know what's going on either 🤔
