It's interesting to read this with Echoing Hearts in mind, and the story is even mentioned. The two follow similar premises, with the key difference being the two characters. Echoing Hearts follows more stereotypical "likeable" characters. In contrast, it takes a lot more work to get the audience to like J'oon and Takane, and I think the game does this quite well. The two new characters also provide a different type of love story compared to before. Nice work to the entire team.

Another heartfelt story from the mastermind behind Echoing Hearts. This is technically more kinetic novel than visual novel, so you need only sit back and enjoy the snarky, goofy, heart-string tugging ride. The music blends in with the mood of each scene, and there are plenty of little animations or CGs to break up the dialogue. The plot follows the same notes as its predecessor, which is both comforting but lacks a bit of ambition. It is about opening up to another and overcoming the past together. You will feel good by the end of it, and that is a nice takeaway. There is depth too, and I have come to realize my knowledge of Touhou lore is getting out of date. At times it can get a bit verbose, which coming from my style is "pot calling kettle black" but maybe it takes one to know one.

It may be a bit weird, but my favorite bit of writing here was the dev note from the author. As a writer I could relate with the challenges and fears directly, more than the story itself, ahaha. Reflecting back on a project is a great way to improve.

EXTREMELY cute and fun game. Apologies for the relative lack of words, I'm not fully sure what else to say.

Awesome dialoguewriting here. Even with my lack of familiarity with these characters, I really appreciate how they're characterized-- I still got what they were all about, even with the story being (seemingly) so integrated with canon storylines. The scene in the forest was probably my favorite part.

Extremely kyute animations of the sprites. There's like, 10 times more of these than I expected, and they all accent scenes really well. I'd have liked funni cartoony sound effects to go with alot of them, but you know, 2 weeks.

In short, it's like a chocolate chip ice cream cone-- just, such a sweet treat, in a way where you wanna savor it.

OOH the girls are fighting!! This was very funny and cute as expected, you always manage to write these rarepairs in such a believable way, Takane was one of my favourites from th18 so it was nice getting to know her in depth here. Everyone did a great job on this!
