The use of the blues scale definitely gives this a nighttime groove and feel. I also like the use of the bass pedal tone throughout which gives it a nice smooth feel. I really like the forest-y percussion sounds that play throughout and give your town lots of character. Great work and thank you for sharing!

This reminds me of some old school Sega Genesis stuff, and it speaks to my soul

These fireflies are rocking! I really found this creative and it would greatly fit in a 2D video game with a funny vibe to it.

Not bad! Once I read "for a town that comes alive at night", damn, I felt that immediately. Though the composition is perhaps a bit simple and repetitive (though it never starts feeling bad or annoying, great job for that!), I dig it. I can see what you did with the rhythm, trying to spice it up (e.g. at 3:00 with the triplets xD). Overall, nice entry!
