Lovely and straightforward educational game; great selection of graphics and sounds. I would've loved some more enemies, possibly some boss fights, but it was very enjoyable nonetheless!
One tiny suggestion: I think the game should automatically take the current input as the answer when the time runs out, so if the player manages to type in the correct answer but isn't quick enough to press space, that should be okay.
that was delightful lol. Gave me "mario teach typing" vibes. Maybe have the game speed up a bit over time? I'm ferocious with my times tables and I never missed anything, so I eventually just left. I love the timing and the impact of the punches, really well done, very satisfying!
This is a fun game. I could see adults benefiting from this after they've forgotten their mental math. For me, the difficulty was more remember where the numbers on my keyboard were in relation to my fingers though, since I don't type numbers using proper typing form.
True, the numbers are from pico-8's rnd() but it would be better to shuffle a fixed set of asssignments. That would avoid repetition and allow more control over difficulty levels. From all the playtesting during development, I feel my own math reflexes are a bit faster :-)

Interesting idea. I included it in my Toy Box Jam 3 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Very nice compilation! Thank you for including my game.

That's a great suggestion, thanks, I'll include it in a post jam version.

Very enjoyable math drill. Suggest giving the correct answer when a problem is missed.
I had a lot of fun with this! I had to pull myself away. :D

It seemed like the same problems repeat a lot.
