- The art style is lovely, and the idea of time-management while trying to race to be first is an intriguing idea!

Absolutely loved the boat rocking physics! It's such a good idea and I've never seen it before. Loved how it could tip you off the edge. With a bit more work this could be a really sweet arcade game!
I'd love to see this fleshed out - pirate games are awesome. I know you could take it far, too, because you made your own engine for this. That's a big investment to make, but if you keep working at this game, I bet it'll pay off. I also really like the art and fonts that you used.
It seems like you have a good idea of what would make a game like this fun. Maintaining a ship with cannons and fighting enemy pirates sounds awesome! That being said, there is not much here in terms of gameplay. I got my ship pretty far two times, but both times I fell off the ship because of the weird lack of friction, and I don't have the patience to run through it again and see what's past that point. Considering the fact that it takes a few minutes of walking back and forth to get there, you probably should have at least added an invisible barrier to the sides of the ship.
That aside, what I'm really interested in is where you take this from here. If you are going to keep developing this, I suggest making a social media account or mailing list so we can keep up-to-date on it. I certainly would.
Certainly needs polish, but it has potential to be cool. Maybe work on the physics a bit, and add a guard rail. I don't think he likes falling forever off the boat. Love the art style.
This seems like a very interesting idea, I wish I could play the finished version!
