Too bad your game is so short. Some more Levels and some work on the controls would be great.
You have the best Devlog I´ve seen in this jam so far!

Nice game, you could improve the movement a little bit but still good

i purposely took the candy, ate it, and didn't go home. now my mother and brother will kill me but thats okay because i only left them the good and plenties for when i die

With platformers, how quickly the character decelerates when they stop moving or reach the arc of their jump is just as important as their speed. Without proper deceleration, controls feel slippery and awkward.

Art style has potential. The character, grass, and houses look nice.

Attempt at constructive criticism:

Cons:

-Platforming is slippery.

-Graphics are extremely simple.

-No music or ambience really makes the game feel empty.

-Story not in game, but in description.

-Floating platforms and no background add to emptiness too.

-Ending just a screen.

Pros:

-Platforming is somewhat fun.

-You made a video devlog!

-Easily completed.

-Coded in Unity, which I definitely cannot do.

-"Can you satisfy your brother" Made me chuckle.
