Nice concept! At first I struggled to get the monkey on right path, but in the end I made it. Length of the game was good, first two levels give you the ropes and third one puts skills in to test.

That was interesting. I'd kinda prefer to get the code blocks directly to speed up the process but the concept is solid and nicely done in pico-8 :)
