well done! my favorite part was blowing up an asteroid to get lots of gold at once, it felt like discovering a secret! abandoning the ship is also really cool, and it also feels like that!

maybe next time you can try archiving your files with ZIP instead of RAR, that can make it easier for others to play

Developer

for those who are wondering how this fits with theme:then you have low hp you can abond your ship and find new

Fun! I really like the visuals and sound. One thing that would help a lot would be some sort of trail for the enemy shots. That would help the player track down the enemy easier. Very well polished game for 3 hours dev time.

For a three hours jam is great! I would add more juice like: particle trail from ships and shooting, explosion particles, camera shake on deads and asteroid explosion… I would also make the gold more attractive (glow, tweens or animations) Also, I like the idea of getting gold from asteroids because while you shoot you are in bigger risk so that fits the limitation imho. In fact I used a similar approach of risk/reward.

I had to get an old laptop with windows to play this game haha. I suggest that you build also a web version and you’ll get more reviews. Many devs don’t use windows.

Keep it up!
