Great game!
Graphics are really good and the sound was pretty nice! I like the use of the theme as well. The controls feel very sharp and it takes me back to playing early arcade games. I found it difficult, but it was very rewarding once I figured out how to deflect the bullets properly. I'd probably like it to be a bit easier, but that's likely a skill issue on my part. I really liked this submission!
There's a lot to enjoy here and I think the graphical style is quite strong, but I believe that the 'deflect in mid-air' function doesn't quite work, which prohibited me from completing the game. That being said, I still consider this a proficient and admirable effort for the timespan it was made in.
Hey, thanks for the feedback, about the mid-air deflections, the timing can be tricky and it might be extra hard to pull it off because there might be some lag in the browser as a result of poor optimization on my side, I do think it's possible to pull it off and it might be easier to deflect first and then jump.
