Pretty neat concept, though I’m not sure I really enjoyed it over playing a regular breakout game. Having the ball light up for a short time when it hit a wall was a really nice touch, though!

nice twist on pong, felt like the paddle was a bit floaty though, lost 2 lives before the darkness came in

Nice twist on the classical brick breaker genre and fit well to the theme. GG

I was able to play the web version on my end :).
Really fun concept and pretty challenging game! I wish hitting some bricks would bring back some light :D
Congrats! Really fun entry

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback!  I'm really glad you had some fun playing! And I definitely like the idea of some bonus bricks to help the player a bit (or to spice things up too?) :)

Doesn't seem like the web version works. Downloaded the windows one, and I get the following error:

Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing? d to match the executable's name (without the extension).e should also be rename

Developer

My bad! The windows executable was indeed broken because of a missing file. I just uploaded a new version that should hopefully work now.
It's weird that the web version didn't work for you though, as it seems to run fine on major browsers for me and others. Do you mind sharing what browser you're using?
Anyway, thanks a lot for pointing out the problem as I probably wouldn't have noticed it myself before long!

Works great now! Whatever you did to the download version seems to have also fixed the web version!

Onto the review, great spin on a classic! Was actually pretty challenging, but not too hard. Could use some music, otherwise, well done!

Developer

Nice, glad to read that! Thanks for the update and the feedback!
