A catgirl singularity wouldn’t be so bad!
This has a great buildup with all the stacked parts. I’m digging all the extended chord tones in the melody/accomp. Not to mention: awesome visualizer!
The way the synth would fade in every beat made it feel like it was out of rhythm. Especially when the kick would go away.
You are right, I listen to it again and the sidechain sucks. Thanks for the feedback!
The techno theme with heavy four on the floor kicks, strong hi-hat, and pulsing side-chained synths really gives me the “cybernetic” vibe that I associate with the theme. The melody that comes in halfway through is pretty catchy and it went very nicely following that rhythmic pedal tone in the mid-register. One thought that I had while listening is that if you introduced the first melody earlier and then repeated it again at the end, there would be an enhanced feeling of finality and conclusiveness to the track, especially as you end with the energy pretty high! Overall I love the synthwave vibes. Good job and thank you for sharing!
Thanks, I missed an opportunity to put some cheesy VA harmonies but couldn't make it in time.
How did you make that interactable visualizer that plays on the submission page? That was really cool! I enjoyed the bright lead synths over that low rumbling bass, the mix is well put together.
I think you could lean more into the "Cybernetic Catgirl" idea a little more. Maybe add some anime VA samples or digitalized cat sfx as an additional rhythmic element.
The track changed and evolved well and kept me engaged. If it were to go on any longer it would need more variety, but you hit a good sweet spot with the track's length.
Great job!
I thought about putting some anime VA snippets but could not make it in time due to mixing issues.
