The models and music were nice, and I like where the idea is headed.
I wasn't able to figure out how to attack with the ranged creatures which took away a lot of the strategy.
Additionally, it might be good to add a way of keeping the landscape the same from the previous battle because it takes a while to setup the board plus you and your friend might want rematches on the same terrain.
Hey thanks for playing and appreciate the feedback. Yeah you hit a bug regarding not being able to attack with the ranged creatures. I was able to resolve it, just wasn't able to get the build completed in time for the deadline. And that is a great suggestion regarding the landscape! Thank you.
This has a lot of potential! The graphic look is cool, and a dinosaur tactics game is a great idea. The music and SFX work well.
I did have trouble moving and attacking, though I saw you noted below that the windows version has a bug that makes this more difficult.
This is a really good start, especially for a Jam entry! Great work :)
Hey thanks so much for playing! Appreciate the feedback =)
Good core here, appreciate the effort in the models and menus and info panels are useful.
Had a few difficulties moving units around tho.
thanks for giving it a go =)
Atmospheric music and dino designs were great!
Thanks for checking it out
It's often unclear how to play (e.g. how to make a unit attack without moving in phase 3). The game is very cool though, especially with the music and dinosaur models. I would like to see more of this, with additional terrain and enemy types added.
Thanks for playing and appreciate the feedback! Yeah I got into the weeds programming and so it fell short in quite a few areas. It also has a major bug I found shortly before the deadline which I couldn't fix on the windows build in time relating to moving the pieces around which might be what you are hitting. It makes the game much more confusing as you said. Thanks again!
