I quite like the idea, but I had difficulty understanding the rules of most of the games. With enough polish, especially regarding explanations/tutorials, I think it could be pretty impressive in the end.

I like some stuffs you did here, it is unexpected but felt very hard to me

Developer

Hey guys, unfortunately, I won't be updating the game during voting period, I'm sorry. But I will still be updating it into a fully fledged game, where I'll be putting a lot more polish, story, mechanic, design, and more, before 2020 ends. 100% guaranteed! Feel free to give suggestions, or express your opinions! Thanks. I really appreciate all of your feedback.

I liked this very different good entry

Love the idea, very innovative and excellent game play concept. Was probably too difficult for a jam (you want the players to be able to win in a couple tries) and I agree with the other comments here but overall I liked the idea!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I agree it's a bit hard. It's a trouble when I can't put myself in a player's shoes. Glad you like the idea, I'll be improving the game from now, just not sure which one, haha.

This shows great imagination. I agree with JK5000 that I would have enjoyed one or two of these games in a more finished state rather than have 4 games that don't have all the desired features.

My favourite was the white walkers game

Developer

Thanks! Which games do you think I should focus on improving for now? I have a ton of ideas of each one. Fun fact, the White Walkers game is the most finished one of them and was actually the most frustrating one to playtest.

I like the atmosphere, music and visual style. For me the gameplay in the mini games felt a bit too unfinished, and I wish you have worked more on a couple of them instead of making so many. Overall is this an okay jam game.

Thanks for the feedback. The gameplay really is unfinished and there's a lot more I want to put, but I'm not sure if updating only one of them to their fullest potential or making all the games more polished before voting ends is better. Thanks for playing!

Wow, this is a ton of work! Four games in one is no joke to complete in 2 weeks! The narrative elements you included were really interesting as well, like every game had its own mythos. I really wanted to make it to the end of the unbelievably ugly story but was simply not fast enough. Not sure I fully understood the cauldron game, but it was really interesting to see the story I created in the end!

I will say that while the game was unexpected, in a lot of ways it was unexpected in a way that made it less fun :(. I didn't realize there was a speed randomness slider for the glowing orb, for example, and was just wondering why the movement felt so weird.

I think there's potential here, but more playtesting and tweaking could go a long way! Like for the game with whitewalkers, the use of sound is a really interesting addition, but starting with four different sounds is a lot for someone new coming into the game. if it were only two sounds, that would have been a lot less frustrating and more of a "oh, that's cool they did that!". As it was, I ended up searching all the quadrants all the time. xD

Btw, very satisfying game feel for discovering the imposters and blowing them away! That was really well done.

Thanks so much for feedback! So glad you enjoyed the game. :) My team definitely had a lot more ideas to put in the game, there was unfortunately a lack of time, and a lack of proper planning skills for it. The whole game, concept, code and art was actually rushed in just a week since I was busy with some other jams and totally forgot about this one haha. I will definitely take in mind all the suggestions you gave. I'm polishing and updating the game in a few days, so if you're interested to see the update, add it to a collection maybe? I might change the unexpectedness factor for the glowing orb too, since I can see how the movement could get annoying. Thanks for playing!
