Nice graphics and music.
Some more effects when the ship is ready to fire would be nice, I found it hard to focus on the ship all the time.

A well polished little game! It's fun to play, the difficulty is correct and the art is well done . The auto-switching weapons is also a nice addition. I appreciated playing this game. :)
The drawback I have is the weapons. It's not clear when you can use the, and having a "charging bar" for them could be a good idea for me.

The game is really fun. Why did you make the poster in 3d and the game 2d though? (not a critique, just wondering)

We really plan to make the game into 3d but given the deadline of the gamejam, we instead make the game into 2d. I would be cool though to make this game into 3d since I have talented teammates in making 3d assets. You can indicate when you can shoot if the playership changes its color into yellow, white if you can’t.
