Being chained together makes multiplayer definitely more interesting, and I really liked that it gets tangled around objects. It would be cool to see puzzles that make use of the chain/character distances.

One suggestion I have is to relax the falling into pits a bit. Dying instantly when you scratch the darkness got pretty frustrating especially with how quick the character's acceleration was. If you work on the game more, an interesting idea would be the character starts to fall but the other can pull them back up using the chain, or maybe they need to go and help the character up with a prompt.

Another issue we ran into was the combat was a little frustrating in that if some of the enemies hit you first, they would stun lock you and you couldn't fight back. Also, they could easily stun lock both characters at once if you ran in to help. It might also help the game if the players couldn't hurt each other. Lastly with the combat, there didn't seem to be much purpose for one character being fire and the other being ice (maybe there is later on in the game, but I didn't get past the third level).

This isn't a suggestion, but a bug I ran into. When you spawn in a level, the chain seems to sturdy so walking towards the chain with either character keeps the chain rigid and slowly pushes the second character. It is fixed as soon as a character moves perpendicular to the chain.

Overall, really interesting concept, and with some tweaks could be really cool!

Pretty fun! But hard to play alone, especially given the controls.

The idea is really cool! I would have loved a bit more difficulty in level design. But the combat system is fun to play ^^

Good idea.

This game is based. Wish I had friends to play it with though.  Nice execution of the theme.

Really cool game, with fun concept. Kinda clunky sometimes, especially at combat.

The art was very nice and the concept was very nice, but the keyboard controls were weird and hard to get the hang of!

Thanks, loved your game btw!

I quite like your idea about players being tied to each other and that they should work together in order to move! And the music makes me feel like I'm really playing one of the enchained characters!

Developer(+1)

So glad you enjoyed the music, just a few moody chords I played on guitar!

I loved the idea of the players, i didnt have a controller laying around so i had a hard time playing. But all and all good job,

Great game but had some issues in combat. Maybe it is my bad.

Developer

It's definitely still finnicky! Thanks!

Loving the idea of chaining two players together! Had a few issues with the combat though where I would end up getting spammed by enemies which would prevent me from attacking back.

Developer

Yes, combat is probably hard but it's doable once you get used to it! Thanks for playing!

I really like the movement in this game it feels fluid

Developer

Hey thanks!

Very nice game. The chain seems to be stuck at the start of every new level though.

Yes, just one of those things I wish I could've fixed with some more time. Thank you!
