This was great! Really beautiful and cute. I loved the cut scenes and the music. Also the idea is very good. Well done :D

Developer

Thanks Nemo!!

I'm glad you liked it. This was the first cutscene we have ever made, so it means a lot to us. :)

level design and color scheme is really promising! but its so short i think^^

Developer

Thanks 129RPM! :)

we also think it's a little short, but we were afraid to stretch too much and end up making the game boring or running away from the original idea. ^^

amazing game, the visuals are amazing for a game jam. the only thing that can be added is maybe some sound effects like jumping, pushing the crate, landing, walkin etc... it can make the game feel much more alive and engaging.

Developer

thanks alon1525! yeah, we wnated to add those sounds effects, but we kind left it to the end and we ended up running out of time. xD

Beautiful game and great atmosphere! I thought about if it would be a good idea to take the box mechanic out of the game, just to make it more clear, that this is not a puzzle game but wants to tell a story. I realised, that you wanted to integrate the boxes in the story aswell to make clear this slime feels weak and can't make it alone (because he can push the first boxes but not the next ones), but that was not really clear. I think by my choose of words you can guess that I think a good game focuses on one or a few aspects but clearly differentiates from others - at least if it's a game which should be rated and recommended well :)

Thank Lpjton! ^^

about the boxes, you got the idea, but I totally agree with you that it wasn't very clear. to tell you the truth what I think most breaks the idea of him being weaker is the sequence of jumps he does after the picnic scene, if we had more time we probably would have changed that.

thanks again for the feedback and for playing. :)

Amazing game : ) I really like the atmosphere, jump-animation and the cutscene.

It's cool that you guys managed to make a game with al this diverse content and a unique idea as well.

Thanks for your feedback. :) I think we are so traumatized by our previous jam that we have hardly slept since Friday xD

If you mean the Unreal-Spring-Jam, thats really cool too I just played it and its also amazing : )

It's interesting to see the improvement too.

Though I think you forgot to disable the debug-sphere on the hammer (just nitpicking) ; )

Developer(+1)

yeah, that was our first jam. ^^ I didn't think we did so badly, but we had to deliver the game with a lot of bugs. xD
ah thanks for the hammer tip. we will check this in the corrected version. :)

I didin't mean to imply that you did badly, I actually really enjoyed the game. I really liked the ice-age reference : )

I think most jam-games are full of bugs, I have been fixing buggs and adding quality of life stuff to my jam-game since the jam ended.

Hit me right in the feels. Nice little story.

I think a minor improvement that would help a bunch would be to smooth the camera so that it's not so snappy. Great game!

Developer

thank you so much for playing. :) and thank you very much for the  improvement suggestion. we still don't have much experience in this area so any suggestions that can help us improve make us very happy ^^
