An amazing game. I like the style of the game very much, both the post processing effects and the 3d models, they fit together very well. Despite the low poly models, the horror atmosphere is preserved, which is very important in this type of game. You did a great job!
The only thing I can complain about is that the game is a tad too easy.
Very good game! Amazing atmosphere, nice use of the pixelation of the screen to hide the low poly graphics, and also very nice sound design too. The UI is very nice too, and the style of the game is consistent and on point with the theme. The theme is well integrated too, even though the expansion of the camera view doesn't really play a big role in this and could be removed altogether (unless maybe you make the screen circular for the game itself, kind of like the torchlight light, and make the view radius expand with each upgrade), but still, nicely done.
I usually leave some suggestions to every game I rate, but this one already feels very polished and complete and I can't really come up with suggestions or feedback to improve it, which is not a good thing, but at the same time it means I think the game is already very good.
So in the end, amazing horror game, it doesn't even feel like the game was made in a week for a jam, in fact it doesn't really feel like a prototype or a demo either, its good enough already to be a full short horror game, so good job! :)
Simple mechanics, but great atmosphere as a result! I didn't expected a horror game and I was more than impresed with the integration of the theme in your concept. Cool stuff!
Interesting game, indeed it does feel a little scary even though you are playing as a rover, the monster appears and I just do nothing, the upgrades and connections does give a sense of motivation and the options on what to get allows a sense of choice.
but I don't see the 'Expanding' theme in this game, I guess the connections and upgrades is a sense of expanding, but not really much for the theme.
