I love the soundtrack and the visuals! But a tutorial would be nice, I didn't quite understand what i was doing... But overall nice work!
You're right; our ideas were really similar. I guess we both like resource-management type games :D
I loved the artstyle you went for; it really gives DEFCON vibes if you've ever played that game. The overall concept was also pretty creative and interesting, and the daily random events provide a good opportunity for replayability.
My biggest issue; the game feels like it's trying to do a bit too much. A tutorial would help, but even if you cut down on certain mechanics and made the game a bit simpler; I think it would go a long way in improving readability. Also, there seems to be a bug where nearly all daily prompts wouldn't allow me to select the second option.
This was a good game regardless; I enjoyed playing. My highscore is 18 :p
I survived 13 days my first time. Didn't really know what was going on and at what scale but it looked nice and could probably be a really good game if given a tutorial and better player feedback for actions.
pretty cool conecpet amazing work!!
This is such a nice game for a game jam, it's got a lot of creativity and potential behind an awesome idea and a little prototype. Can't wait to see what the creator makes next!
This game was confusing at first, but I later got the hang of it. Maybe include a tutorial so people can figure out what to do. I survived for 15 days, and had a nice experience.
I agree with this! Huge product considering the length of game jam, like Tropico in 2D. I made it 16 days!
