Interesting idea with the turrets protecting the crops! A suggestion I have is maybe consider making the turrets always targeting (so the player no longer needs to click the turrets) and having left/right click shoot the corresponding turret.
Took me a while to realize I had to manually plant the crops, and the menus were a bit too blended in which made them hard to locate initially within the short time frame in-between the waves. A 'Ready?' button for starting the next wave would've been pretty nice.
Other than that, once I started to understand the game though, I began enjoying it. It's a bit difficult to hit the targets though since you don't normally expect the bullets to just pass through the rocks but I eventually got the hang of placing and timing the explosions reasonably well.
All in all, really fun game and a nice idea.
Yeah, I could have explained things a bit better, and the menus definitely could stand out more. I appreciate the feedback, thanks for playing!
I didn't find the game laggy. I think the game is too hard, though. Most of my missiles just went through the meteorites.
The missiles themselves don't destroy the meteors, the explosions where the missiles stop do. It's ripped off pretty directly from the Atari game Missile Command.
I like the game, but it's too laggy (even without the explosion shaders).
Maybe I should have exported a windows build instead of just the web one. I didn't have issues when I was testing, even on my phone it ran nicely (without the shaders)
