What is the most interesting interval in your leitmotif/theme?
I think the most interesting interval here is the minor third as I find it adds a touch of sadness/despair.

Sounds like a song that would play as the dark knights ships land

This is such an interesting piece in that most of the chords that you use are not inherently dissonant. The substitution of minor chords for major chords when our brain tells us that they are not in the right order according to "classic functional harmony" is what you are using to your advantage to make it sound more evil and foreboding. Now the relationship of the chords to one another also adds significant dissonance that you connect well with the trumpet melody in the repeat. I also like the chromaticism you use in the high voices. Thank you for sharing!

I already mentioned this about the dissonance clashing a bit too much. Or should I say, it's feeling excessive. Just so you know, I love dissonance, and I know how sometimes it just sounds right to us even through I'm told by other people it is "wrong". What I have found is that it has to come up every so often or it reads as off-key. (And maybe make the purposefully off-key chord last longer so it doesn't read as an accident?)

I like the rhythmical pattern of the base, though. I would give that base another melody line and that may do it. Also, some drum beats for dynamics. Best of luck,
