The game was fairly easy to pick up and very addictive to play fora little while. For some reason, the sound effects wouldn't play on mine, but I think that is a side effect of the Linux Wine Emulator. Overall, the game was very fun and enjoyable. Good job!

Thanks for playing! The sound library is SDL Mixer so I don't know if that is incompatible with linux, I will look into for future projects.

Looks like the game was exported in debug mode.
But, that's just a note.

The background got a bit distracting at times and the music did not really fit in.
But, it's better than no music. And by no means does this mean it's bad. The sound effects were good, sounded like my frog had a laser pistol (pew, pew).

Good job with the game. Could use some polishing on the movement. Not sure how SDL2 works, but it feels like there was an if statement with some else if for the directional movement. Making those else if only an if will make the movement feel more polished!

It was fun, and good sound effects.
Good job!

Really appreciate the rating and feedback. As for the debug mode, I think you are referring to the text in console window. I left that in because when I commented it out my player would move extremely slowly for some reason, so I left it in lol. You were spot on with the else if statements for my movement. I forgot to remove that once I transitioned to a faster paced form of game play, because initially the game was gonna be melee combat focused. Thanks again for the feedback, loved your game.
