Rerally cool to pull off without and engine. A bit hard and easy to get separated and have no player at all on screen :) Enjoyed trying it.

Developer

Thanks! I'm thinking about taking the concept and just making a normal puzzle game without the difficulties that come with platformers

It's difficult to get used to the controls and the levels are hard. It does have good art and I think it's pretty impressive that you used no game engine. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! Only my second platformer and my first was made in unity 2 years ago so I will eventually get platformer controls better.

Very nice. Clean and solid execution. Well focused on the theme. I enjoyed. Just need a little bit of juice. Like a walking animation and screen shake when you hit a checkpoint. Very solid game.

Developer

Thanks! Will definitely try to make some juice next time. Forgot about screenshake but I could have (and should have) added it and I want to continue working on my js game framework to support animations and maybe particles in the future

I gotta say I really like this concept. Some feedback for future games, maybe try to make the difficulty curve a little more standard. I found even the very 1st level pretty hard, but maybe I just suck lol

Developer

Thanks! I'll try to work on the difficulty curve in future games. Definitely had some trouble making easy levels (in fact the first few levels I made had to be scrapped because they were too difficult)
