How does your entry adhere to the theme "virtual pet"?
You can summon virtual creatures and need to figure out what environment they prefer :)

Nice job! I liked the large variety of creatures in the game.

I'm not going to lie, for some reason I was not expecting much going in to this game. But I was pleasantly surprised when I actually really enjoyed it. This is honestly one of my favorite games to come out of this jam and I would love to see this expanded on. I will definitely come back to play this later.

Thank you! Yeah, I see how it can be expanded (adding more elements and more controls), but it will be an insane amount of unique creatures I will have to draw. I was already questioning my decisions with these 15 creatures I have :) But yeah, even focusing on one of the mechanics and making a game out of it might actually work.

If you're open to suggestions, I'd add more controls like you said for a more elaborate research/fine tuning experience. If you want to make sure this doesn't add a massive amount of work in the name of new unique creatures for the eventual new elements from failed experiments, you could add a catch-all element like "garbagium" or something which you get from all failed experiments.

Really nice gameplay idea. I also liked a lot that it has some story there.

Thank you for trying it. Sorry, I can't return the favor, I don't have Windows. Please let me know if there is a way to play your game without it.

Don't worry, sadly there is no other way. When developing for Win Desktop we know that not everyone uses this platform.

Interesting idea! I included it in my Virtual Pet Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out. :)

This is really a solid idea, execution was nice also - great job !

Nice concept! I... kinda hacked it to finish because I couldn't wait :) (Nice reference btw lol) If you want to make it harder to hack you can flag something in the bundler to exclude the sourcemap I think?

Developer(+2)

Thank you for playing! For some reason, I am just obsessed with this meme, and it made it into the game. But I agree that you can't 100% the game unless you are lucky playing the game at the right time or you come back later or you just hack it :)

I don't think I want to make it harder to hack, it's kinda whatever. Everybody plays like they like to play, which oftentimes includes hacking and cheating, and I don't think want to intentionally limit it. The source code is open anyways.
