I thought this might be interesting to some. I made it for myself but if it helps anyone then please use it!
I made the most stripped-down unity project I could, with full Oculus quest support. One scene, one script. Just native unity stuff, no extra modules. Really straight forward. Mapping hand/head positions and button input.
I've gotten reports that it doesn't work with the latest unity version, so make sure you use unity version 2019.2.12.
