Very pretty game! Unfortunately, it wouldn't launch into my VR headset. I was using SteamVR and the Valve Index, but it never launched in VR - instead only working on Desktop.

Thanks, wasn't sure if only worked in Oculus or with different headsets also. Using HVR framework with SteamVr integration. But so hard to tell if things will work for just Oculus or other headsets also, only having access to device.

Agreed! I wish someone would come up with a good emulator already so we could test on multi devices without having to own them.

I liked the environment! I actually used the same asset to demo a tool I made before :) and I think you modified it really well and made it look great! Also the game play is really enjoyable. I suggest you try to use some horror music/ambience from https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/ they have nice collection there.

Thanks so much for playing and the compliments. Ill take a look at link. I used sound and video from free stuff I found online. The music was from an Unity pack I got in a bundle. He only had one horror theme I think.  Ya that environment is amazing for $5. Standard Pipeline also.

Edit: I will review your game. Tried to do every PC game and took a break. Can you just play APK files or need to load them on Oculus?

Amazing! Really liked the asset environment and how you set it to make difference between the positive mode and creepy/horror mode!!

Except some minor correction like the music in the background and the audio from tc that ovelap weach other, for the rest i really enjoyed it!

Also the glass breaking made me scream a bit haha nice job! You really got nice idea mate!

Thank you for playing. Ya 2nd scene I didnt mix music well. I had extra time, but my scene changing I had just got to work ok and was done with small changes.  Almost all my extra sounds needs some work. The tv doesnt have audio. But the sound I added to empty object travels too far. I wanted it easy to find but the audio mix sounds bad.  Ending 5th scene only one that I feel extra sound works well.

In 3rd scene the ape is trying to bring up wallstreet bets, while also showing how to beat next puzzle, if people dont understand.

Thanks so much for trying. I know big file, I had to learn how to use Butler to upload. My first gamejam. I was working on the $5 graphic asset I used here for a few weeks and really wanted to use for this game jam. Was hoping I followed theme OK.

Also could you get to third scene? Wasn't sure if next clue was too hard/confusing/boring to find.

It took me a little bit but I succeed!

I felt the ending was a little too sad, so added the lightsaber just to play with. But not part of the game for the gamejam.  Again thanks for playing, none of my friends have VR so it is hard to get anyone to test.

Hey, I'm not sure I get the point of the game, would you mind explaining it please? I made it to the bath tub area after struggling to grab a candlestick, but it was a little too spooky for me to want to continue 😅

It is just a puzzle game where you get info or key to open a door to the next level, changing between light and dark. Light scenes girl is alive, moves, and dances from Mixamo animation. I wanted it to have only two scenes and portals that saved interactions, but it wasn't working so just went with 5 scenes with 5th the winning scene.

1st Scene Tutorial:

In the bathtub there is a 2nd power plug under the girl, it is used in the door on the left at bottom of stairs. Maybe a jump scare close to tub. The room to the left of bottom of stairs has a power generator that opens a door on the 2nd floor above the only real light in dark level. Here you can hit a button to get to the light side, not scary part, where there is another puzzle, leading back to a dark side.

Nothing can attack you in the game. Every candle should be grabbable and has a gravity pull so don't need to bend down to pick up, sorry there was trouble with picking it up. I have never had the problem and never had a tester.  My video also shows how to beat the game in under 6:30.

Thanks so much for trying and your comment.

The glass breaking by the bathtub made me jump and I'm really not into spooky games so I noped right outta there haha, thanks for explaining it!

My first attempt at a jump scare. Makes me very happy it worked 😁. Thanks for trying.
