I finally gave this another go and did not regret. As always, hilarious audio and a curious set of stories. It does require some patience to go through every faction's tale but worth the effort. Nicely done!
[Edit] A quick note... Does the game really need 229 MB?
I need to check what it is zipping. Might be including stuff from the Corgi Engine, but I unchecked all those levels. I can't imagine my 2 min song causes it to be that large. Also, could be what it takes for Fungus to run. I am surprised it is that large.
Says 21 MB on the UI, that makes more sense.
could be 300 MB or 3 MB, it really makes no difference... I was just surprised.
It is due to the audio files. Man I can't imagine how large the files will be if I start doing voice overs for all the text.
That was a little short and really quite weird. I can't get over the artstyle. Interesting dialogue and entertaining cutscenes though!
Not a fan of stick figures?
It was unclear that you had to spam jump to get up to the platforms at first (I only finally tried once it was clear you couldn't get up any other way).
Something in the level logic might be messed up... I killed the big goon 1x time, but only the robots on the time I finished the level. not sure if I only had to kill the robots or if it remembered me killing the big goon from a prior round and made a mistake there.
Given the weakness of animation, I would have liked to see the combat character arena character to have a small amount of animation, even if it was only a few key frame poses to go along with their actions.
The cut scenes were longer then I would have liked given the amount of game play (It felt like there was more cut scene then gameplay).
Music style is very unique and interesting.
yeah, there is a bug on the left spike collision where it triggers multiple times leading to a win and the next evel. Since the game currently is more in the vain of a visual novel, that is why there are so many cutscenes. Given I don't really do animation, I was happy with the fight scene. Thanks for playing.
