I really can't tell which direction the AI goes when it hits a wall. No undo as well.

Developer

Thank you for trying the game. The AI basically slides across the wall if it can't go through, if it goes right into a wall, it moves down, if it goes left into a wall it moves up, if it goes down into a wall, it moves right and if it goes up into a wall it moves left. I could have made this clearer in the tutorial level/s but didn't realize at the time that the mechanic might be hard to understand for some people.

I ran out of time to add a polished undo button (I did make one but it was really buggy, so left it out), I will add undo in a post-jam update.

I don't really know how, but sometimes the AI doesn't slide across the wall.

Developer

If the player cannot move then the AI will not move.

Also I managed to move diagonally. You can move through walls with this and the AI won't follow you (not diagonaly).

Oh, you can move diagonally into some walls. Oops. The AI still attempts to follow me when I do it though? I'll just fix it in the post-jam build I guess (as well as add the undo button).

Thank you! (I could have balanced the difficulty a bit better)

love the puzzle desing

Developer

Thanks, I tried to think of interesting ways that the mechanic could be used and made a level/puzzle out of it.

Interesting play on the mirrored movement concept, had me scratching my head a good couple times

Thank you! Did you collect any of the extra crystals?
