Fun take on the theme, its not often you see a metroidvania beeing submitted to a game jam. I found myself dying because by changing my functions more often than the enemies or lava however. One fix could be to have the player only take damage when entering the functions menu, not when moving things around. Overall, good submission!

Thanks for playing :D It was my first time making a metroidvania, probably a mistake to do it for a jam haha. Yeah I had that idea about the functions menu as well, just didn't want to punish the player if they didn't end up changing anything. Definitely should have planned a bit more at the beginning but ah well :D

It looks really well, and it has pretty interesting mechanics. I couldn't get past this part tho:

(It's screenshoted from the screenshots because the game froze when I tried to screenshot it there (I'm on linux so I ran it through wine, so it's not that unexpected (I have also iGPU with unfinished Vulkan support))).

I'm also not sure how this uses the theme, but it feels like a pretty good game overall :)

Thanks for trying it out :D Yeah this theme wasn't very good for me, I struggled to come up with anything haha. The idea was that the player is a human, programming the robot and helping him reach the surface, so maybe a bit of collaboration there? Idk.
