Absolutely brilliant game! It definitely hits the evolution theme perfectly. I like that the movement behaviors changed as you evolved.

Well thank you Clone13 :)

Great job! Definitely had fun with this one. The trippy visuals and music really make you feel like you're a microorganism. Great ending as well. Solid game.

Developer

Haha thanks Anti :)

I  think the look and feel of the game are great! But it's really really frustrating to get completely wiped out by 1 red ball that spawns off screen...it can seriously wipe out 2 minutes of progress instantly.  I would love to see a video of someone  beating it! Great use of the theme :)

Hi Mini, thanks for the play and feedback.
My tip is  ... staying still is sometimes safer than moving :)

Contains spoilers !    ;)

Yhea but you can't ask us to find your game fun if we need to stay still to win lol. It's a good concept. I think something that you can have done to improve this point is to allow red ball to destroy 3 or 5 cell max and after that the red cell destroy itself.

that was great! Looks like you really lucked out though transforming just before you got totally wiped out :) love the ending

Interesting game! I included it in my XanderJam 3 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

Thanks Jupiter, will take a look :)

At first, I thought it was going to be near impossible getting 100% in the first section but got it eventually. Game turned into a real treat, and was a great use of theme. The end game me a good laugh too. Great work!

Developer

Well thanks Sid :)

This is deep! Also, pretty cool that it turns into a platformer!

NICE GAME, the art was cool, specially the background, and the music fitted really well, the game was a bit too hard in my opinion, and the goal is not really clear, but for some reason I feel like it was just entretaining to collect protein

Developer

Thanks for the play Aetherr :)

Cool game, I like how it fits the theme and it reminds me of Spore.

The only criticism I have is that the text is red and you have to pick up green blobs at the first stage, but that is quite nitpicky.

Overall really solid entry :]

Developer

Thanks Moolordking :)

cool concept making use of the theme!  I almost gave up in the beginning though. It was impossible to dodge the red blobs, so i just ended up getting very frustrated and feel only by luck I got to 100% haha.

I like the idea of different stages and playing differently each step and slightly different movement mechanics with each evolution! Great job!

Developer

Thankyou Icy :)

You had me at ‘primordial soup’ :-)

that music has no right to be as addictive as it is!

Developer(+1)

Haha thanks Sam,
3.5 billion BC .. that music was at the top of the charts :)
