I was just wondering if we are allowed to submit more than one game, or if we can only submit one?

You can work on as many games as you like, but I believe each account can only submit one game to a jam. 

If you are working with teams, I would suggest having games submitted on different members accounts.

I just double checked and it appears you can submit multiple entries into a single game jam! 

So yes, you can work on as many games as you like and submit them.
