  • This game embodied the Christmas spirit the best! All the assets chosen fit perfectly together and the composition of the town square was lovely. We love the in game tutorial. Everything looked very official, from the fonts to the pictures. They really made it clear how to play the game. You had the most clear UI, nice and big. Super clear what they were for. Audio was just christmassy enough, you picked some good sfx for interactables too. The option to lower the volume was a nice touch. It was such a fun idea to scan the kids and whack the bad ones. There should’ve been more bad kids to whack. The scanner had a short range, sometimes I didn’t have enough time to scan the bad kids and hit them with the cane. An upgrade to increase the range would be cool. The game play got a bit repetitive after a while. A win or failure condition would hit the dopamine receptors of players better. Cause now the game just fell flat and there was confusion if there was more to come. But the gameplay itself was smooth and fun. This is an impressive game to make in just 3 days, I’m glad you found some time to make something. We hope you had fun! Thanks for all the advice regarding the jam in general and for the thorough review you left on the other participants. Awards for best Christmas spirit and Enjoyment goes to you!

Cosy holiday game, impressively polished for the short time it took to make.

The one thing I missed, unless I didn't play enough, was the final winning the game state. You can run out of hearts and not be able to continue playing, but I didn't see a way to complete it. Unless it's when you reach a lot of hearts, like 1000 or something ;)

Nicely done otherwise, I had to pick my jaw off the floor a little when I first saw it :D
