okay so im calling it the arctic circle dream and basically the best way i can explain it is this:
morally grey Carmen sandiego like person and her one sidekick, instant teleport system that uses like mini cell towers, has a grid that operates like a subway system for transport all over the world so there's like specific lines you can teleport along, where the assistant was sent to an off grid arctic teleport station on purpose to allow her to not be caught up in the mess that they got in to, where the Carmen type character her assistant, she pops out of the off grid teleporter, wanders for a while in a blizzarding cold before finding carmen sandiego's dad who ends up taking her in and giving her a place to stay in the community, which is kind of like a very icy and snowy conservation/camping area with a few clusters of people and community here and there, witch shuttles operating between the little enclaves to the resources that everyone needs and is like quite far away, houses that people have are like some form of arctic tent and there's like 6-7 people in groups from 3-6, but thats just on average, so now the assistant is just trying to hide and integrate in to this tiny arctic town, ends up meeting another more intersex person than her, who they eventually bond and develop feelings for eachother because there is like a handful of queer people in this area but like they're really the only two lesbians (they're also both trans and intersex for some reason) so yeah it becomes like a slow burn. the assistant tries to avoid detection, and just generally live a life that she would be proud of, in spite of everything stacked against her, with maybe some participation in like college or something to involve everyone and have like a central place where a lot of people gather.
(also side note but i want to share this insanity: the start of the dream started out as Spiderman x royal kind of affair where they had to pretend he wasn't engaged to the member of the family so he had to be chased but it's like the one adult peter from in to the spiderverse, and then morphed in to the Carmen sandiego theme of like acme chasing them but them also being morally grey for the better good i cant remember what exactly, then morphed in to a cozy town hiding thing later on which i got the final like theme from)
