Question: does having sex during battle do anything?

I bought the first game because the exposition dump in the second one had me lost, I love the quality upgrade of the second game but it would have been way better if in the second game you started with a new character and a new story so that all these new people who will be interested in this higher quality game can get a cleaner slate, no offense but the first game just isn't that good and it kinda hurts to spend 10 bucks on it, I would have preferred to spend ten bucks on the sequel and play the first one for free
