I like the game feel.
The concept of collecting resources had a good risk/reward to it.
That being said, I wasn't aware I was supposed to collect resources for quite a while there.
Also, not having a leaderboard limited the desire to score higher.
And the lack of music was really felt.
These are all small changes to boost the experience, you succeeded in the most important aspects:
Creating a game that feels good to play, runs well, and is not confusing. Many devs struggle with those things.
