i was able to see the newspaper using a button to open/close it, but it defaulted back to dialogue after.
i'll check out the manual and give it another go! thank you :)

I just uploaded an update to fix the Help and Dialogue system, if you're interested in trying it again. Thank you again for reporting the issue!
I made it so the newspaper opens on the Quarterly Round up screen and the dialogue opens on any other screen. You can still cycle between the two, but I did not come up with a solution for minimizing/closing them. The idea is on my possibilities list though!
