Yes you wasted your money. Gurl that's so obvious that each update costs 9,99$ and gets more expensive each update and I'm totally not joking or anything🙄🙄🙄
To update you just need to delete it from your computer( you won't lose any progress) and reupload it from your itch.io account library just be sure to load the one that says it was most recently updated for the mac.
