Excellent game and great visual work! Lots of detail and effort put into descriptions and interactions. I loved being able to examine, interact and talk to things and getting different responses each time, and even more responses each day/night! Well done!

Just a heads up though, I encountered a bug. I tried a few runs so I can't remember which scenario caused it because I did continue one game after closing the rom, but I also completed one game and started a new game in the same session for the alternate ending.

The bug: Interacting with certain things like windows reset that period of time as if the progression variables were being set incorrectly.

e.g. Complete Night 2 with the nightmare of hungry Papa, start Day 3, examine window in Dining room and then it's Night 2 again instead of Day 3. I had to examine the small door, have the nightmare sequence again and transition to Day 3 again.

When continuing a game after closing the rom, I also noticed a bug where the player sprite would disappear or become a glitchy block.

(I played it on Android mobile via RetroArch 1.19.0 with VBA-M core if that helps)

Thank you for identifying that bug for me and for the specificity of your bug report! I think I know where I went wrong and it's a leftover from a time traveling glitch I thought I had solved before. Whoops. The glitchy block is new to me, but I'll see if I can reproduce it as well. Thanks a bunch for the kind words as well as the feedback. I truly appreciate the time you took to give me that feedback. :)

No, thank you for the interesting game! I did play it to earn RetroAchievements so that was fun. Not sure if you knew that your game was linked there, but it is!

And yeah, if I didn't care about your game, I would have just said it was fine, but it was a good experience so I'd like to help the next person also have a good experience by trying to help you get rid of bugs. Good luck!

I had no idea! That’s so cool! I never thought my little game would even get noticed, much less have achievements developed for it. Thanks for letting me know about that. It just made my day. :)
