A cute story with a charming art style and a potential good use of the theme. Quite an interesting choice for a game still in development in that, unlike most other works I've seen in this jam (including my own), the missing block lies right in the middle of it, which allows players to still see how things will eventually get resolved. A choice that I personally approve of, but that I could see alienating people that are more averse to "spoilers".
Guess I'll have to play Alones while I wait for the rest to come out, and to notice the tie-in...
