Bubblepaws' Destiny: Chapter 5

Bubblepaws went into Birchstar's den nervously, she had an odd question to ask, and she wasn't sure how Birchstar would take it.

Bubblepaws wanted to change her name. She felt it was barely more than an apprentice's name, and she hated it.

"B-Birchstar... May I come in?" she asked, terrified.

"Of course, Bubblepaws, what is it?" 

"Well I... I don't like my warrior name..."

"Really? I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do."

"There is, Birchstar."

"What is it?"

"You can have a name changing ceremony, you can ask Sparrowfur about it, the elders always know the oldest stories."

"A-a-are you sure?"

"Yes, Birchstar, I am completely sure."

Birchstar was shocked, she had never heard of a warrior changing their name, so he asked Sparrowfur about it, and Bubblepaws was right. Sparrowfur told her about the words for the ceremony. She leaped up to the wetrock, "May all cats old enough the catch their own prey, gather beneath the wetrock for a clan meeting," she yowled, "Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on she will be known as Bubbleheart, for she hated her former warrior name."

The clan cats were confused, Bubbleheart changed her name? Why? 

Lol, short chapter, but I'm kinda bored with bubblepaws, and (whoever said it) was right, it's like one letter off from an apprentice's name, so I changed it :D
